Our Work
While PROJECT 1 was taking place in South Africa, we organised a workshop at a local school to teach the kids how to build a shelter for the homeless.
The children were asked to collect plastic bottles and bags from their houses and bring to class. Before we started building the structure we explained to the kids three main points:
1. What the project is about
2. Why we started this project
3. How important it is to take initiative and help other people and the environment

It is important to bring awareness to the young generation since they are the ones who will be leading the future of our planet!

Our first Project took place in Johannesburg, South Africa for the period of three months (from October to December 2017).
We visited an impoverished community in Innesfree Park, in the very wealthy area of Sandton. We interviewed some of the people in order to collect as much information as possible, not only about their housing issues, but also the bottling-recycling system.

Our Mission
Our mission is to travel the world and teach people how to build
zero-cost shelters with the 'weaving-bottle' technique.

The shelters are built by stacking plastic bottles and weaving them with re-used fabrics or strips of plastic bags. It is an easy technique that anyone can easily learn!
The whole process of making one structure is an opportunity to bring people together, work, interact and especially with the homeless people. We tend to forget how important companionship is and that homeless people are lonely.
By collecting one bottle at a time, storing it and meeting with groups of people to build a shelter, creates a small community of people who want to be part of this huge movement; a movement that inspires people to take action and make this world a better place!
